We offer data acquisition systems for EEG, ECG, and a variety of other biosignals. Configurations suitable for human or animal applications are available. The majority of our systems operate on a PC under Windows XP or Vista, but we offer one system with software for the Pocket PC (Windows Mobile), and developer tools are available for certain products to permit operation on almost any computing platform.
ActiveTwo is a powerful high-resolution biosignal acquisition system that incorporates some revolutionary concepts. Active electrode technology is just one of the significant innovations in the ActiveTwo system. By placing active electronics within millimeters of the actual electrode contact, ActiveTwo virtually eliminates the need to prepare the skin before applying electrodes. This can cut measurement preparation time by an estimated 15 -30 minutes for most laboratories!
g.USBamp - g.tec's latest 24 bit biosignal acquisition device - is the perfect tool for recording multimodal biosignal data with highest quality. This allows to investigate brain-, heart-, muscle-activity, eye movement, respiration, galvanic skin response and other body signals. g.USBamp is USB 2.0 enabled and comes with 16 simultaneous sampled biosignal channels.
The g.tec biosignal amplifier is a basic signal-conditioning element to establish biosignal data acquisition and realtime analysis from MATLAB and SIMULINK. Its user-selectable multi-channel modules allow the simultaneous recording of EEG, EMG, EOG and ECG. The stand-alone amplifier system can be equipped with 8 or 16 channels or it can be stacked to have a 32–, 48–, or 64–channel system.
Mind-Fi is a wireless 63 channel active EEG head-cap that enables participants to project their thoughts in real-time anywhere in a coverage area of 20x20 feet (6x6 meters). Active electronics on the cap eliminate the need for scalp abrasion resulting in cap setup time of only about 5 minutes. The cap weighs only a few ounces, so it’s comfortable to wear and it will stay put as subjects move through the environment. To wash, just remove the tiny transmitter and place it on the charger.
ActiveRat is an elegant solution for collecting multi-channel EEG, EMG and activity (infrared detector) data from multiple freely-moving small animals. The system architecture incorporates amplification and 24-bit analog-to-digital conversion in a single, compact unit located inside or immediately adjacent to the animal housing. Up to 32 A/D boxes are synchronized but remain galvanically isolated from each other by means of a fiber-optic data daisy chain.
g.tec provides complete MATLAB-based development/research systems including all hard- and software components needed for data acquisition, real-time and off-line data analysis, data set classification and for providing neurofeedback. The BCI system can be realized with g.MOBIlab+, g.USBamp or g.BSamp.
The first patient-ready BCI system is now on the market. BCI is a direct communication channel between the brain and a computer, allowing paralyzed patients to communicate or to control devices in their environment just by mental activity. The EEG-based spelling system is called intendiX and enables the user to select keys from a matrix just by paying attention to a target symbol on the screen.
g.MOBIlab+ - g.tec's portable biosignal acquisition and analysis system - is the perfect tool for recording multimodal biosignal data on a standard Pocket PC, PC or notebook. This allows to investigate brain-, heart-, muscle-activity, eye movement, respiration, galvanic skin response, pulse and other body signals
