With the introduction of new devices, previous generations are discontinued. The original PortaLite is no longer available, replaced by the PortaLite MkII, and the PortaMon is soon to follow. The PortaMon has been considered by many to be the gold standard in muscular NIRS, due to its consistent and high-quality data, small form factor, and low price point. There are some PortaMon systems still available, but stock is likely to run out by Q2 of 2023. If you would like to use the PortaMon, please get in touch soon!
