The PortaLite muscular NIRS packages, associated accessories, and software. The PortaLite uses near infrared spectroscopy to measure absolute tissue oxygen saturation as well as oxy-, deoxy-, and total hemoglobin concentrations. The flexible probe, with a 1.3 meter reach, is small and easy to attach. The PortaLite can be operated using our dedicated software, Oxysoft, or configured to take offline measurements to onboard memory. It is useful in a wide range of applications, e.g. brain oxygenation monitoring, sports science, or functional studies. The small size and flexibility of the system make it fantastic stand-alone, or when combined with one of the larger systems!

Typical applications of the PortaLite are found in sports science, training evaluation, rehabilitation medicine, urology, peripheral vascular disease, high-altitude research, compartment syndrome, and occupational health.
