ActiveTwo Flexible 127 Channel sEMG Electrode Grid – Disposable (amplified connection cable sold separately) . May be washed and reused up to five times with careful handing. This surface electromyography (sEMG) multielectrode grid (including the connection tails) is manufactured by using flexprint techniques. This grid has been specially designed for facial sEMG and consists of 7 x 13 electrodes, with an interelectrode distance of 4 mm (center to center) in both directions. The thin (50 m) electrode carrying material (Polyimid) allows smaller grids to be cut out from the basic grid. Each electrode (1.95 mm in diameter) consists of a copper body, which has been surface coated with pure silver (99.99% Ag). Perforations of 1.2 mm in diameter (each centered between 4 electrodes) were made to facilitate skin attachment of the electrode grid. The grid has high mechanical flexibility. Total thickness of the flexprint (electrode, carrier material, traces, protection lacquer) is 470 m in the area of the electrodes and 150 m between them.
