Description

FOMRI-I by Opto-Acoustics: Fiber-optic microphone for use in MRI (LiteMic 3130). This is a pressure gradient microphone. It adds 6 dB to the total SNR of speech vs MRI noise. In the worst case, MRI noise is 117 dB and speech is ~100 dB). In this microphone you will be able to hear speech, but the noise from the fMRI gradient will be at the same level or higher. You can post process the noise with standard wave editors. The mic is delivered with 15m of 5.1mm tactical fiber cable.
