ViSaGe AGP Upgrade (requires return of existing ViSaGe unit)
Planned Upgrade Path for 64-bit Windows Compatibility
If you have an original ViSaGe unit (serial numbers starting 7.1), you can upgrade to a ViSaGe MKII to get compatibility with 64-bit Windows with the new VSG Software Library v8.3 release.
In addition to the usual VSG mode of operation, all ViSaGe MKII systems can also be operated in Bits# mode, making them compatible with community tools like Psychtoolbox, PsychoPy, and Psykinematix on any platform.
How Does The Upgrade Work?
Just return your original ViSaGe unit to our factory in the UK, and we send you back a new MKII unit in exchange.
Important – check which graphics card you have!
If your ViSaGe is connected to a Wildcat VP880 or Wildcat VP990 AGP card (which is installed inside your PC), then you need to upgrade both the graphics card and your ViSaGe unit, at the price showed above.
If it's already connected to a Wildcat R500 PCI Express card, you can keep the R500 card and get an even better deal.
